ActiveCucumis sativus L. · Cucumber
Monstanto Vegetable, NL
10 August 2026
The plant has a cluster-type ovary formation, producing 2–5 to 8–10 ovaries per node. The gherkin-type fruits have a large-tubercled surface with white spines; fruit length is 8–12 cm. The hybrid is distinguished by slow fruit growth, which reduces the risk of overgrowth during infrequent harvesting.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field, spring greenhouses, and tunnels with a planting density of 3.5–4.5 plants per square meter in open field and 2.5–3.0 in greenhouses. Overseeding with 10% pollinator is recommended. The hybrid is resistant to olive leaf spot and cucumber mosaic virus, and shows tolerance to powdery mildew and downy mildew.
