The Cerrucho variety is an indeterminate cucumber characterized by a very long main stem, determined by the length of the first 15 internodes, and an upward orientation of the leaf blade. Cultivation of this hybrid was practiced in greenhouse conditions on rockwool.
In scientific research, the variety appears as susceptible to Cucumber vein yellowing virus (CVYV) and is used in pathogenicity tests for Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-cucumerinum.
