The Eureka (PSX 2888) hybrid of American breeding is a mid-early pickling variety with a maturity period of 57 days. The plant is indeterminate, monoecious; fruits are dark green with white spines. The variety possesses complex resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including anthracnose, powdery mildew, and a number of viruses.
Under the name "Эврика F1" in a number of regions, another mid-early hybrid is described with a maturity period of 44–45 days for open field. The plant is indeterminate, predominantly female flowering type. Fruits are cylindrical, coarsely tuberculate, with a mass of about 80 g, with black pubescence, resistant to downy mildew and bacteriosis.
