The variety is intended for cultivation in protected soil. In 1980, it was one of the main varieties for commercial cucumber production in Denmark. In specialized literature of the 1980s, the variety is mentioned in the context of production trials and comparative yields.

Compared to the variety «Ingrid», the hybrid «Evadan» required significantly more labor during cultivation. The preferred fruit size for the market was 300–400 grams. Specific morphological descriptions of the plant and data on disease resistance are absent in open publications.
