In agricultural circulation, the name Fanto is often confused with the hybrid Naf-Fanto F1. This hybrid is mid-season, bee-pollinated, predominantly of the female flowering type, and intended for open field cultivation. Its fruits have a tubercular surface, a length of 8–12 cm, and do not contain bitterness.
