Hansa F1 is a parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that does not require insect pollination and belongs to the very early maturity group. The plant forms abundant foliage with small leaf blades and short lateral shoots, which facilitates care and harvesting.
The fruits are dark green in color and have a regular cylindrical shape; ovaries are formed in clusters of 1–2 fruits per node. The hybrid possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and Cladosporium cucumerinum, as well as moderate resistance to downy mildew and cucumber mosaic virus.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field using intensive cultivation technologies. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for industrial processing and canning.
