The Island F1 hybrid is a vigorous plant type with high yield. The dark green fruits reach 32–36 cm in length and are characterized by a firm texture, absence of a "neck", and pronounced ribbing.
The variety is intended for cultivation in greenhouses and tunnels, demonstrating high efficiency when grown during the winter period. The hybrid possesses high resistance to Cucumber vein yellowing virus and Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, as well as intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and tolerance to Tomato leaf curl virus.
