The Jitka F1 hybrid is a gherkin-type cucumber with a predominantly female flowering type. The fruits are characterized by a dark green color, a short and slender shape with a length-to-width ratio of 2.9:1, and have a blunt end and coarse white spines. The variety is distinguished by the genetic absence of bitterness and delayed fruit overgrowth.

The plant possesses high complex resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, bacterial spot, scab, as well as to cucumber mosaic virus and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. The variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including cool regions.
