The variety belongs to the category of heirloom crops and is characterized by the onset of fruiting 50–60 days after sowing. The vigorous vining plant requires the installation of supports for normal development.

The fruits are medium-sized, about 20 cm, with dark green skin. The variety is intended for fresh consumption; however, it has high susceptibility to Fusarium wilt, which is why it is often used in scientific research as an object for grafting onto resistant rootstocks.
