Mid-season variety with a ripening period of 60–70 days. The plant is climbing, with vine lengths exceeding 1.5 meters. It can be grown on trellises, as a trailing crop, or in containers.

The fruits have a round or egg-shaped form with a diameter of 6–12 cm, turning lemon-yellow upon ripening. The surface is covered with small spines or pubescence. The flesh is light, crisp, and has a low cucurbitacin content.

The variety is an heirloom open-pollinated type. Intended for fresh consumption and culinary use. It shows relative resistance to a number of diseases, however, under unfavorable conditions, it is susceptible to powdery mildew and downy mildew.
