Variety description

The variety was created at the Krutovskaya research station «Mayak» with the goal of improving the characteristics of the «Nezhinsky mestny» variety. The fruiting period is about 65 days. The plant is characterized by hardiness and increased resistance to diseases, in particular to downy mildew.

The fruits possess thin skin, firm flesh and an absence of bitterness. The cucumbers are distinguished by firmness and a crunchy structure, which makes them suitable for use fresh, for pickling, marinating and canning. In terms of yield, the variety surpasses its predecessor.
