Hybrid Portos F1 is early or mid-early, the period to the beginning of fruiting is 42–47 days. The plant is vigorous, long-vined, parthenocarpic type, not requiring pollination by insects.

Fruits are cylindrical, deep green color, tuberculate, with white spines. Length of the cucumbers is 7–9 cm, taste of the fruits is without bitterness. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus and cladosporiosis.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field, greenhouses and tunnels. Fruits are of universal purpose, suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning.
