The variety is intended for cultivation in protected ground. It is distinguished by rapid growth rates and the ability to yield a harvest a week earlier compared to a number of other varieties, while being recommended for planting after February 1.
The plant possesses resistance or high partial resistance to powdery mildew. When grown under low-light conditions (autumn, winter, early spring), the variety is prone to leaf chlorosis.
In scientific experiments of the 1980s and 1990s, the variety demonstrated a high capacity for embryo formation from leaf tissues, which made it an object of research in the field of breeding and biotechnology.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
