The variety belongs to the category of English greenhouse cucumbers intended for cultivation in protected cultivation. The plants are parthenocarpic, which allows for fruit set without pollination. The variety was historically used for early forcing, however, it is also suitable for cultivation in open field.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape and reach a length of 30 to 50 cm with dark green smooth skin. The flesh is firm, crunchy, with a mild taste, absence of bitterness, and a small number of seeds. The yield is up to 6–8 fruits per plant. The variety is sensitive to low temperatures and demanding of growing conditions.
