Syn Polka F1 is a mid-early hybrid with a ripening period of 40–45 days. The plant is characterized as medium-tall and medium-branching with a predominantly female flowering type.

The fruits are oval or cylindrical in shape, reaching a length of 6–9 cm and a mass of 75–95 g. The gherkins have a large-tuber and sparsely-tuberous surface with white pubescence; they are not prone to overgrowing and yellowing. The yield is 10.5–12 kg/m².

The hybrid possesses resistance to powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, scab of cucurbits, and downy mildew. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, pickling, as well as harvesting at the gherkin and cornichon stage.
