The Beit Alpha type hybrid is a parthenocarpic plant with a predominantly female flowering type. The variety is intended for greenhouse cultivation and is also known under the code designations HA-1236 or HA-1296.
The fruits belong to the smooth category, without spines or tubercles, have a club-shaped form and a color ranging from light to dark green. The variety demonstrates resistance to Cucumber mosaic virus, Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, Watermelon mosaic virus, Cucumber vein yellowing virus, powdery mildew, and downy mildew.
The plant is used in scientific literature on biotechnology as an object for experiments on in vitro regeneration from hypocotyl explants.
