Variety description

The variety is mid-season, the period from germination to the start of fruiting is 45–60 days. The fruits have an elliptical shape, reaching 9–11 cm in length and 4.0–4.5 cm in diameter with a weight of 90–115 g. The surface of the fruits is characterized by the presence of black spines and resistance to yellowing.

The variety is intended for universal use: fresh consumption, pickling, and salting. During research, a tendency of the fruits to accumulate bitterness was noted. Currently, the variety is included in the list of national plant genetic resources of Lithuania and is used in biodiversity research.
