Velasko F1 is an early hybrid with a vegetation period of 45–50 days, characterized by good stress tolerance. The plant is vigorous, with strong branching, generative type, and predominantly female flowering, forming several fruits per node. Sowing with seeds or transplanting is possible at a density of 30–50 thousand plants per 1 ha.

The fruits are dark green gherkins, large-tuberculate, with white spines. Fruit length is 6–12 cm, diameter varies from 1 to 5 cm, and the length-to-diameter ratio is 3.1–3.15:1. The hybrid is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, pickling, and other types of processing.
