The variety is a non-hybrid heirloom with a vegetation period of 125–130 days. The plant is vigorous, trailing, with vine lengths reaching 2–4 meters. Fruits have a round or slightly flattened ribbed shape, yellow or yellowish-orange color, sometimes with a netted pattern on the skin.
Fruit weight is typically 10–30 kg; by limiting the number of ovaries on the vine to 2–3 pieces, the weight potential increases to 50–65 kg or more. The flesh is yellow with a mild taste. The variety is versatile: it is used in cooking, for canning, as autumn decor, for exhibitions and children's crafts; it was previously used as a fodder crop.
