Alessandra F1 is a balanced, upright bush-type plant. The variety is characterized by the ability to form fruit sets even under high-temperature conditions.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape and a dark green color. The hybrid possesses intermediate resistance (IR) to powdery mildew (Px) and a number of viral infections, including cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), watermelon mosaic virus (WMV), and papaya ringspot virus (PRSV).
