ARO-800 is a commercial squash hybrid belonging to the Italian zucchini group. In scientific literature, the variety often serves as a model object when conducting comparative trials, in particular, to study the effect of biostimulants on plant growth and development.

The hybrid is capable of producing a significant volume of vegetative and fruit biomass, which is particularly noticeable when grown under protected cultivation. At the same time, in the open field, the plant may demonstrate a decrease in yield during periods of extremely high temperatures due to sensitivity to heat stress.
