The zucchini variety Gina F1 is a summer crop of the zucchini type. The hybrid was bred during selection work aimed at increasing plant vitality in open field conditions.

The main breeding goals in creating this hybrid were adaptation to low temperatures and the acquisition of resistance to common viral diseases of vegetable crops.
