The plant is a vigorous vining liana. The fruits have a round-flattened, strongly ribbed shape reminiscent of cheese wheels. Their weight varies from 5 to 10 kg, reaching 15 kg in individual cases. Fruit color changes during ripening from dark green to bright orange or terracotta brown.
The variety is mid-late, with a growing season of 100–120 days. The deep orange-colored flesh is distinguished by its density, aroma, and sweetness, containing about 10% dry matter. The pumpkin retains its shape well during heat treatment and has the ability to be stored for 6 to 9 months.
The variety is low-maintenance, however, it requires a warm climate and a long season for full ripening. The fruits are versatile in use: they are suitable for soups, purees, desserts, and baking, and are also often sold cut into slices and used for decorative purposes.
