The plant is vigorous, indeterminate, with long vines, requiring a significant feeding area. The growing season is long.

The fruits are oblate-spherical in shape and can reach a weight of 20–25 kg. The skin is yellow with a reddish-pink hue, the flesh is yellow and sweet. The variety possesses good keeping quality when stored in frost-free premises.

Used for vitamin-rich livestock feed during the winter period due to its high carotene content. It is cultivated both in pure stands and as a companion crop, for example, with maize.
