Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant forms a compact bush with vines about 1.2 meters long, which allows it to be grown in limited space and containers. The variety is open-pollinated and is often used as a genetic subject in studies of the species Cucurbita pepo, in particular for studying bush form traits and fruit morphology.

Fruits are suitable for long-term storage due to their hard skin. In cooking, the variety is traditionally used as a winter squash that requires full maturation to a hard rind before harvest, and is most often used for baking.
