The variety 'LISSTREAS', also known under the trade name 'SILVER 'N GOLD', is a hybrid of Dasiphora × friedrichsenii. The main feature of the plant is the contrasting combination of bright silvery foliage and saucer-shaped bright yellow five-petaled flowers.
The plant reaches 1 meter in height with a width of 80 cm. The upright form of the shrub with sturdy branches makes the variety suitable for planting in containers, as well as for use as a specimen plant or in group compositions.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -35 °C (USDA zone 3b). For normal development, the plant requires drained, sandy or stony soils and open sunny locations.
