Adelaide F1 is an early-ripening hybrid with a growing period of 50–60 days. The roots are of the Nantes type, have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip and reach a length of 7–10 cm. The flesh is fine-grained, the skin is smooth, and the color is intense orange.

The plant has strong vertical foliage and a compact habit, which allows the variety to be grown in containers, on raised beds, and in dense plantings. The hybrid has resistance to diseases and is suitable for cultivation under film covers during the spring and autumn periods.

The roots are intended primarily for fresh consumption, and for use as snacks and in salads.
