Bergen F1 carrot belongs to mid-late varieties with a maturity period of 85 to 116 days. The plant has powerful, strong foliage and forms cylindrical root crops with a blunt tip, reaching 23–25 cm in length. The surface of the fruits is smooth, the color is deep orange.
The variety is adapted for cultivation on mineral and peat soils and shows resistance to Cercospora leaf spot. The root crops are distinguished by excellent keeping quality during storage. The hybrid is suitable both for industrial processing, in particular drying and slicing, and for sale on the fresh market.
