The root crops of the Gona variety are characterized by a bright orange phloem and xylem color and have a small round or round-angular core. The size of the root crops is medium or quite large.
The leaf rosette is semi-erect and includes 12–14 leaves. The leaf blades are rhombic, devoid of pubescence, reaching 20–24 cm in length and 15–18 cm in width; the petiole length is 15–18 cm.
The variety is intended for autumn harvest cultivation and is suitable for long-term winter storage.
