The variety forms cylindrical root crops with a blunt tip 19–22 cm long. The surface is smooth and bright orange; the top of the root crop does not turn green upon ripening. The flesh is succulent and dense; the core is small, orange or orange-red in shade.
The plant possesses resistance to cracking and is capable of growing on heavier soils than other representatives of the Nantes type. The foliage is characterized by secure attachment. The variety is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and prolonged storage.
