The variety is mid-season, the ripening period is 75–100 days. The roots have an elongated conical shape, reaching 20–25 cm in length. A characteristic feature is the dark purple, almost black skin and flesh of a similar color, sometimes with a cream core.
The plant forms an upright rosette of feathery green leaves. The variety has cold tolerance, withstanding temperature drops down to -10ºC. The taste is described as sweet and aromatic with berry notes. The roots are suitable for fresh and cooked consumption, as well as for juice production.
