The variety is an improved version of the «Lange Rote Stumpfe» type and is intended for professional, market, and amateur vegetable growing. It is a late-maturing variety with a ripening period of about 160 days.
The roots have a very long, slender, cylindrical shape with a well-blunted tip and a uniform intense orange color. The variety has a sweet, mild taste with a nutty undertone and is characterized by high keeping quality.
The plant is resistant to Alternaria. The variety is stable (not an F1 hybrid), which allows the use of seeds for further propagation. It prefers loose humus or sandy soils.
