The variety was developed through selection from the traditional local variety "Ljubljansko rumeno" with the goal of obtaining root vegetables with a more intense color. The plant is distinguished by good foliage and healthy tops.
The root vegetables have a pointed tip shape. The variety belongs to the late-maturing group and is well adapted for long-term storage.
