Variety description

The plant forms tall spike-shaped inflorescences with flowers of a bright cobalt-blue shade, having a contrasting white center. The leaves are rounded, deeply cordate at the base. The variety is vegetatively propagated.

The flowering period occurs in June–August. The plant requires sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile, drained soil. In cold regions, covering is recommended, as the variety can be sensitive to severe frosts.

It is used in landscape design for creating architectural accents in group plantings, mixed borders and flower beds. The variety is also valued as a cut flower crop that maintains its decorative quality in a vase.
