Variety description

Perennial herbaceous plant of the Fabaceae family, up to 120 cm tall. Stems are erect, multifaceted, branched, grayish-green. The rhizome is shortened, woody, thickened; the root system is taproot. Leaves are alternate, trifoliate, pubescent.
Herb yield is 63.9 c/ha, seed yield is 15.5–15.6 c/ha. The total flavonoid content in the raw material reaches 1.8%, thousand kernel weight is 4.5–5.5 g. The production life of the crops is 6–7 years; seeds exhibit hard-seededness.
In the first year, the growing period from emergence to harvest of raw material lasts 110–120 days, and to seed ripening — 170 days. In established plantations, 70 days pass from regrowth to harvest of raw material, and 110 days to seed ripening.
