The shrub is characterized by dense branching and reaches dimensions of 0.5–0.6 m in height and width by 10 years of age. The leaves have an elliptical-lanceolate shape, are arranged oppositely, and are colored in shades of green during the summer season.
Flowering occurs in the period from April to May-June. The flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences, possess a white color, and lack a pronounced aroma. The plant tolerates drought well after establishment and is suitable for use as a groundcover species, for borders, or container gardening.
