The variety forms numerous simple flowers gathered in dense capitate inflorescences. The petal color is solid, purplish-pink (magenta).

The plant has a tall stem, which allows it to be used in commercial floriculture as a cut flower crop. The variety has the trade name Lord Breanthus.
