The name Arancio is encountered in the breeding of perpetual carnations, however, it is not fixed to one specific variety. This word is often used colloquially to denote various varieties by breeder Francesco Sapia that have an orange color, including the Martina and Koprins varieties.
There exists a variety Milka Arancio, characterized by large double flowers 8–8.5 cm in size. The coloration of such plants varies from light orange to deep orange, often with red nuances, striping, or feathered patterns on the petals. The plant type may belong to both cut carnations and potted forms.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
