The variety is intended for cut flower production. During the study of postharvest physiology, it was revealed that plants of this variety are prone to 'sleepy neck' defects and petal tip blackening, but their vase life is significantly increased when treated with anti-ethylene agents such as silver thiosulfate.
In breeding practice, the variety was used as one of the parental components when crossing with the 'Rossini' variety to create the new carnation variety 'Phoenix'.
