The Doranja variety, also known as Orange Triumph, is used in floriculture and appears in literature as a subject for studying petal wilting and pigment loss during the storage of cut flowers. Studies were conducted in comparison with other carnation varieties to evaluate the effect of different atmospheres on product quality.
During laboratory work on tissue culture, it was noted that calli of this variety showed a tendency towards 'wateriness', the severity of which varied depending on cultivation conditions.
