The Indios variety belongs to the group of standard carnations grown as a cut flower crop with one large flower per stem. The plant possesses white petals and a strong stem typical for this group.
The variety is actively used in agronomic research, in particular in experiments on in vitro micropropagation and the study of resistance to Fusarium wilt, caused by the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi.
