The variety served as one of the parental components in the breeding of new varieties with increased longevity.
Characterized by a low rate of ethylene production during senescence. Upon wilting, the flowers do not exhibit petal inrolling; instead, gradual dulling, necrosis, and drying occur. The variety has a long vase life, however, its senescence process is accelerated by exposure to aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acid.
