The variety is intended for cut flower cultivation. In the professional environment, the variety is mentioned in the context of research on genetic markers and flower longevity physiology. In a number of archival publications, it appears as the clone «Skyline Frosted Sim», which is a somatic mutant of the variety «William Sim».
