The Sparta carnation variety is intended for cut flower production. The plant forms double flowers of a medium-red shade with characteristic serrated petal edges.

The diameter of the opened flower is 8–8.5 cm with a bud height of 4.5 to 5 cm. Detailed information on the flowering period, plant height, and disease resistance is not presented in open sources.
