The Aristo series is characterized by uniformity in batches and early flowering time. The plants are facultative long-day plants. When grown in low light conditions below 10,000 lux, it is recommended to maintain a temperature of 8–10°C.
There is a historical cut spray carnation variety with the same name, bred by M. Lek & Zonen, which differs from the modern pot Aristo series by the presence of fully double, pale yellowish flowers.
