The variety belongs to the standard carnation group, which is characterized by the formation of one large flower per stem. The flowers are fully double, with solid pink petal coloration.
The variety has been used in a number of scientific studies dedicated to the post-harvest characteristics of cut flowers and their vase life. The plant's resistance to various pathotypes of the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi, which causes Fusarium wilt, was also evaluated.
