The Bright Rendez-Vous variety, also known by the synonym Abbrivous, belongs to the Dianthus caryophyllus crop. It is widely used in professional floriculture as a cut flower product intended for bouquet arrangement.

In scientific studies dedicated to the genetic diversity of carnations, the variety is considered as one of the genotypes under study. Its high degree of genetic similarity to the EC-7 variety is noted, however, detailed morphological characteristics and agrotechnical indicators are not presented in open sources.
