The variety belongs to the species Dianthus caryophyllus. The plant forms double flowers and is used in industrial floriculture.

During studies, the variety was evaluated for resistance to the pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi, as well as observations regarding infestation by the aphid Myzus persicae.
