The Duca cultivar belongs to the Dianthus crop. In open agronomic sources, there is no information regarding the plant's morphological characteristics, its height, or maturity group.

In phytopathology scientific literature, the cultivar is classified as resistant to Fusarium wilt, which was confirmed during studies on soils artificially inoculated with the pathogen. The cultivar is also used in scientific research on plant physiology to study biochemical responses to fungal elicitors.
