The Konetem carnation variety is a standard-type cut flower crop intended for producing a single large flower per stem. The variety is also known under the trade name New Tempo.

The flowers are fully double, white in color with a very narrow purple-pink edge. Occasionally, the petals may feature long narrow stripes of a similar color, and the petal edges are characterized as almost smooth or finely serrated.
